Power cuts out when I try to start

The battery is fully charged and all of the lights are bright and all seems fine but when I turn the key to engage the starter everything goes dead. The starter never even begins to crank the engine over. It has done this a couple times before and after 20 seconds or so something would click and everything would come back on and then I could try again, and eventually it would start. Now it doesn't even want to click the power back on. Any ideas?

i have had this on my Camaro several times.....and had people call me saying they had a starter problem. Check all your battery connections as well as your chasis and body ground connections.

All true, it's just a bad connection, most likely on the battery cables. Clean the terminals and posts perfectly and make sure they are on tight. Happened to me before too.
