My headlights suck

Hi, how would I get my headlights brighter? I know I could get a higher output bulb, and a bigger ballast, but what would you guys suggest? I only get about 30 meters of visibility, so if a dog, or moose were to jump infront of me, my firebird could become ground beef.. Thanks, KP.

I read the Tech Article, but it doesn't have a wiring diagram for a firebird..

Re: My headlights suck

What headlights are you running now? Get a set of halogens from autozone or something, you should be able to find something brighter. That's what I did and I can see fine.

Re: My headlights suck

I'm running factory headlights I believe. I can hardly see anything at all. How much would those Silver Star headlights run for?

Re: My headlights suck

I believe I picked them up for like 12$ a light or some jazz like that. It was a year ago so my mind is fuzzy, but they arent expensive. Well worth the $$ if you can't see right now.

Re: My headlights suck

I bought the silverstars and made a huge difference.then i adjusted my headlights and it was a world of difference.Thats the best and easiest way to upgrade your lights until you decide to start buying aftermarket stuff. With the sylvanias i dont need anything else, especialy with fog lights.

Re: My headlights suck

Oh yeah thats a good point, make sure you adjust the lights correctly with the screws on the tops and bottoms of the headlight bezels. If you have one light pointed straight down, then you wont be able to see far, but if you raise it up a bit it will do a world of wonders.
