quick head light question.

i just got my car running after being down for a while and can't for the life of me remember if all 4 head lights should be on when i hit the high beams...

seems like i remember all 4 being on but can't remember for sure, i searched and didn't see anything. right now the outside low beams go out when i hit the high beams. i remember that the fog lights should go off but just not sure about the low side

thanks for any help, i just don't want to start trouble shooting and it works right to start with lol

Re: quick head light question.

IIRC, yes. All 4 should be on, when the highs are on. Somebody correct me ifI'm wrong. It's been a LONG time since I owned a Camaro, and haven't really paid attention in a while.

As for the no fog lights with high beams, that is a 5 minute fix. Just find the relay that cuts them off, and ground it. They'll stay on 100% of the time. I dunno the specifics on a Camaro, but I suspect the wiring color should be the same.

Re: quick head light question.

Yes, the outer headlights have dual-filament bulbs and they switch between low and high beams. The inner headlights are high-beam-only so they turn on when you switch to high beams.
