so i'm dumb and started messing with stuff that was working just fine. i took out my alpine stereo and put a stock radio in so the power antenna would come up. (oh ya, power antenna hasn't worked since install of alpine.)
i was trying to get the power antenna to stay up and pulled the power source while it was still on. didn't work. after a bit, decided to put the alpine back in. alpine was working fine for a few days.

the #11 fuse started blowing.

the only other weird thing that happend before the fuse blew was the dome light fell out.

took out the alpine, fuse is still blowing. put dome light back in, fuse still blowing. everytime i put the fuse in, it arcs and blows the fuse.

man, i feel dumb! thanks for reading!!

 

I would disconnect the battery, it will sometime work itself out. If that doesn't work, Trace the wires, maybe a ground isn't good anymore.

did you cap off the power supply or reinstall it, cause it could of fell off and be grounding itself out. You could have also have nicked the wire and causing it to ground out.

 

disconnected the negitive of the battery. no luck. still blowing the fuse. another note, i just swapped out the drivers side seat belt. it has a wire it it that looks pinched. could that be the problem? thanks for all the help!!
