ECU Clicking
ECU Clicking
Whenever I turn the key to activate power only, the ECU makes a very loud clicking noise. The also runs like garbage when it started clicking, so I think that might be the problem because I know its nothing under the hood.

Re: ECU Clicking
A little information would help. Year, make, model and engine configuration for a start.

Re: ECU Clicking
Yes, a little information about yourself and your car goes a long way.
For starters, you could pull the ECM from under the dash and lay it on the floor. Then when you turn the key, try to find out which part of the ECM the clicking comes from. Or maybe it's coming from the dash by the ECM or maybe even from somewhere else.
If you determine it is the ECM for sure, you could swap it with somebody else's ECM and see if the sound goes away.
