Turn signal won't shut off?

Here's the thing:

Neither of my turn signals nor my hazard lights are on, but the flasher/clicker will keep going and going, non-stop. If I turn on my side markers or headlights, it'll stop, but the headlights and/or side markers won't light. When I turn them off, the incessant clicking starts again. Also, if I try my turn signal stalk or hazard lights, the clicking will continue but again, no lights on the outside of the car.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hmmm, background info: Did you just buy the car. Has it done this since you've had it. Did it just start? Any mods you've done recently? ect.

Re: Turn signal won't shut off?

I've had this car for over 10 years, it just started it yesterday. The mods I've done are quite a big list, but the most recent thing I did wasn't even a mod. I was looking at the car planning a future mod and all I did was remove and reinstall the headlight/interior light wheel switch (the battery was disconnected when I did this). When I reinstalled it and hooked the battery back up was when it seemed to start. The headlights also DON'T RISE when I hit the switch. They don't move at all, and they always did before.
