in my 85 camaro theres a sliver box right beside of my ecm, almost attacted. anyone knows wat it does???

got any pics?Or maybe some more info would help.Does it appear to be a factory part?Are there any numbers on it?How many connectors are on it?Not trying to sound like a smart a**,but the more info you provide the better help you will recieve.

If your car has or had a power antenna for the radio, it could be a relay assocaited with the power circuit for the antenna motor.
But, as TIMMYS89GTA noted it could be any number of things. So help us help you, by providing some more info.

If it is a TPI 1985, it is the MAF BURNOFF CONTROLLER, A 1985 ONLY affair.
VERY COOL ! I noticed this little silver box when I stripped the computer wiring harness from my (now crushed) 85 TPI Trans Am. Had no idea what it was and was not in any hurry to find out...... The whole set-up was put into storage for later use.
Now I know - THANX !!!
