esc low voltage?

i just put a starter in my 92 firebird 3.1 and it fired up no power service engine light came on i red the code its code 43 esc low voltage or esc circuit problems, it ran fine (once it started) before i put the starter in and now that its in it get a code 43 it dont make sensce the starter is on the left side knock sensor is on the right side. the service manual i have dose not tell me were the wires run or what color they are or what to look for when i chase this gremlin down tomorrow

are you sure you got all the small wires hooked up? Could a fusible link be bad?

im open to all possibility's i haven't checked it out yet i replaced the starter drove home the light came on i pulled over on the high way i just happened to have my code scanner in the car scanned it code 43 checked the book drove it a half mile or so the rest of the way home
