Power antenna
Not a clue where to put this so mods...if this is wrong just move me.
I got two power antennas...one with a good mast stuck in full extension, took it apart and the connecting rod is bad...the cable that runs up the shaft i'm assuming. The motor is shot on that one (i'm assuming, i've wired it up to the relay and no reaction, no clicking no nothing).
The second one i have has a tiny bend and it doesn't like going up all the way or all the way down, but the motor sounds strong. It works on it's own and what not, but i haven't taken it apart yet, but obviously the cable in the middle is good.
My question is...from the kits it appears that the very end shaft is what is replaceable. Can i take the two bottom extentions and shaft from the good antenna/non-operable one and use the motor and top shaft with cable from the good one that has a slight bend in one of the lower shafts???

Re: Power antenna
anybody??? anyone that has used the new cable kit to replace their broken cable might even be able to help me. I just don't see how to dismantle the shaft of the bad one, and once i figure out the bad one i know i can tackle the good one. Anybody that can help would be appreciated!!!
