Did they do a load test on the battery? Just because it is "charged" and showing 12V does not mean it is a good battery.

The next time the starter is just clicking take a hammer and whack it a couple of times and if it works then your starter is bad.
I doubt it is your battery.

I didn't have them do a load test on it i'll proably do that today after i get off of work. I took the starter off and had it tested, they said it was good.

Might be the cable. Test for battery voltage at the starter solenoid.

Re: Cold out car wont start

with that really low temp, you may want to investigate water freezing inside the starter. that happened to me once or twice.

As I said "Dead Battery". Do the easy things first and don't make something hard on yourself.

Belive it or not Hot weather kills more bateries then cold. I had them go bad in 90deg weather.

Re: Cold out car wont start

Thats not hard to beleive, but for some reason i usually have problems with cold more then heat. seeing that michigan has the most unpredictable weather. I never had a problem with heat here, it runs perfect when temps are in the hundreds. Running at higher temps is a faster way but it's usually just my luck that it happens right when it's the coldest around here, that could be 5 deg to -15. My next journey is finding the vaccum leak which i have no idea where.
