Hey guys,

I have owned an '83 Pontiac Trans-am 5.0 (X Fire) for around 5 years now.

Unfortunately the cruise control stalk has finally gone and I am having a hard time finding a replacement.

All of the available stalks have a two lead cable for the cruise control but mine has three leads!!! but it is not the later stalk as this has a different connector on the end.

I have been doing some digging and it looks like GM (in their infinate wisdom) changed the stalk design for this one year (can someone support this?).

I also live in the UK so if anyone knows of a supplier where I can purchase the stalk from a website it would be much appreciated.

i don't know if you've checked into it at all, but i know ebay has some. I cannot confirm the wire count or the year coverage, but it's one more place to check if you are familular with ebay and have paypal, most people will ship internationally.
