steering column problem
I just had my starter replaced last week and since then everthing was good until yesterday when the car wouldnt start again. Assuming the starter was bad i had it towed back to the shop where the starter was replaced so they could fix their own work. Today they called and said the car will start if you play with the steering column a bit i.e. move it around, adjust the tilt. What could be some possible causes of this?

Re: steering column problem
well i had a problem like this, my car wouldnt start up some times when i messed with the tilt on the colum, and some times my car would die, when i hit a bumb or something, it endened up being my lock cylinder, where u put ur keys in to turn the car over, there are two wires coming out of the cylinder, one of them on my car was cut.......try checking that
