where does this come into the car?
i have been trying to track down where the pink wire from the fuel gauge sending unit comes into the instrument panel. im tired of runing out of gas...lol

i will be able to tell you later today when i go work on my camaro, its right apart because i'm getting rid of all the wire's not needed and swaping in auto meter gauges.

It runs from the gas tank, through the metal behind the rear seats, under the carpet and up to the dash.

it runs from fuel tank along the rear frame rail. then enters the car by the back bumer tail-light area. then its mixed with the tail light harness and runs under rear 1/4 panel interior plastic then under the door sills. If you remove the drivers kick panel you'll see the connector to the dash harness (will be a connector with yellow, green, brown and a few other colors, last I remember it was a white rectangle shape connector) from there it goes to the instrument cluster ................... Bigbabylou the ones that entered the car behind the seats was later models 82-at least 84 entered where the tail light harness did.
