Wiring PL and PW...where to get the power?

So, this might be a stupid simple question but i already had one issue with wiring on a car before this time ill ask. Where exactly can i hook the wires to get power to my power locks and power windows. i dont want to do gay **** and hook it straight to the battery with the a wire. Also, i that if i hook up the windows straight to power theyll work even without the key.. Sound like a bad idea or what? just looking for some input

bad idea...10X easier to break into your car (not terribly an easy concept but possible).

there is a junction block underneath the driver side kick panel for the power locks, and on the back of the fuse block there is a curcuit breaker fuse for the power windows, if you've got complete harnesses those plugs go where i mentioned. If you don't i would suggest for plug and play application to find a car with PW and PL in a Junk yard and get those plugs, splice them and then simply plug them in. That will give you the PL all the time and PW only when the car is on as it supposed to.

Try a search of the acc fuse. That's the primary fuse used to power the door locks. It will point you to several old posts with good links to schematics as well as information for the proper fuse sizes to use with the door locks and the power windows.
