but then when i put it in gear and try to go down the road it falls right on it's face.new fuel pump ,new motor,new trans,headers,exhaust,alternator,starter,water pump.it runs ok sitting still i dont no what could be the problem it's maf tpi.some one help this is my girls car it broke down and i put a new motor in it for her and it wont go down the road.

it just stalls and does a jerk and studder while pressing the gas.has any body had this problem before?

 

More info...does it rev well from ilde when stopped if not then it could be lack of ignition advance? Do you heard the fuel pump noise? Does the engine die when in gear? Auto or manual trans.

 

it rev's sitting still put it in gear it will act like it's going to go then it falls on it's face and studders.it's an auto.fuel pump is on the whole time.and yes it allmost dies when put into gear.

 

nobody could it be maf? well iam going to change it see what happens
