Not cranking
Well this is my desperation thread before I take it into the shop to get fixed over the weekend. I can not get me engine to crank over. Brand new starter. I bypassed the vats with a potentiometer matching the resistance of the key and the security light still stays on. When I crank it the oil gauge pegs itself to the top until I stop cranking. NOt reading anything on the S terminal on the starter either while cranking. Also I am getting no spark while cranking with an HEI dist.
This is on my '90 with a carbed L98 swap. Hasnt run since the swap. Any suggestions

Ok well it looks like this is the pink and purple wire that goes to the starter? But its not connected to anything. Should there be something coming from the column that connects to it?
