oil pressure gauge

i just bought this car two weeks ago and the oil pressure gauge stays pegged out all the way to the right.... any suggestions

Check the wire on the oil sender. It looks like the first pic, and is located at the back of the engine in the second pic.

He's right, check the oil pressure sender connector. If the gauge is pegged, that means there is a break in the circuit.
Although, I thought that all the 90+ engines had the oil pressure sensor and switch in one unit attached to the engine just above the oil filter (accessible from underneath the car). Am I wrong?
