Re: No power to fuel pump relay

Before you drop the tank, have you checked the C313 as the tech article recommends? Many cars have a bad connection there and once cleaned, the pump usually works ok. If it's just an oxidized C313, you won't have to drop the rear axle and tank. Just trying to save you unnecessary labor.

Re: No power to fuel pump relay

my fuel pump may be fried as well. i can't seem to locate the fuel pump fuse. the service manual says it should be there (there's even a picture), but it isn't there on my model. Any ideas? The car is a 1990 GTA 305.

forgot to ask... what is a C313? Where is it located?

Re: No power to fuel pump relay

i found a fuse just off the battery terminal, which i think is the fuel pump fuse. The fuse appears to be fine.

Did you also forget to read the troubleshooting article mentioned above?
It tells you exactly where the C313 is and how to get to it and test it.

Re: No power to fuel pump relay

make u a fused jumper wire . pull down the back seat . plice into full pump wire . should work. if not check ground wire located in same place, make sure its grounded but usually if u have a bad ground your full gauge jumps to full
