Gauge fuse ?

I pulled out my cluster to route mechanical leads for water temp/oil pressure gauges, and ever sense then the gauge fuse will a few days after I replace it. I pulled the cluster back out to make sure that it wasn't getting shorted out on the back of the cluster and I put some foam between the leads and the VSS area. It still blew the fuse the next day. Any ideas on where to check next? What to look for as a culprit?

Re: Gauge fuse ?

I spent today swapping clusters in and out and went through three of them before making a franken-cluster. Of course the speedo still works but nothing else does. Any ideas from anyone?

Re: Gauge fuse ?

It would really be nice to know how much gas I have in my tank and not listen to that god-awful buzz driving at night. It eats fuses like its going out of style. I need to drive it this weekend but I need a cluster to do that.
