i have a 1992 camaro 305 tbi and iv unhooked everything but the starter all fuses are out radio is out fan unpluged alt. unpluged and im still reading 3.83 amps doors closed i mean i didnt think i missed anything is there a second fuse box or somthing i dont kno about ?? give me some ideas im going nuts trying to find this draw thanks

 

Has to be a circuit protected by a fusible link, which includes the starter and alternator and other stuff I can't remember. Need a diagram to start narrowing it down.

 

One idea - check for the fuel pump running - a bad oil pressure sending unit can make the fuel pump run regardless of anything short of disconnecting the battery cable.

 

try unhooking the alternator. also does your interior lights work.
