Bypass marker lights

Has anyone shaved there side marker lights on the front fenders?
I've seen it done before. What I need to know is how to bypass the marker lights so the signal lights still work properly?

Re: Bypass marker lights

There should be no ill-effect from removing the side markers.
Just try disconnecting them to test this. All park lamps, tail lights and turn signals should still work 100%.
