I think I'm going to go Crazy
This wiring is killing me. Whoever had my T/A before I did destroyed the wiring. I just took out almost a pound (literally) of dead end wiring and ripping out a security system that wasn't even operational. I've got it to the point where the car will run just fine but it's not holding a charge. I don't think it's the battery but that might be an issue. I just needed to get on here and release some frustration. Also when I finally get this car done the rewards of driving it will be even more than I ever thought. I don't see this car being done for quite some time though. Anyone got any ideas on this issue. I'm considering just putting a battery kill switch on her just to make sure the battery gets disconnected when I park somewhere.

When you turn your car off and you are getting a battery drain while not running, something must be draining it. I have seen radios that would do this and drain the battery, Amplifiers and things like this. One thing you might try is to disconnect the Ground from the battery and hook up a VOlt meter to see if your getting a huge drain. If you are then start pulling fuses until the drain goes away. Once you isolate the drain then figure out why. It may be a bad solinoid or a wire that was grounded and should not have been.
IF you do not have a big drain then look at your battery, old batteries do not hold a charge.

Re: I think I'm going to go Crazy
I'm not sure which wire I pulled that fixed the problem but it's solved. I pulled out all the wiring that was unused, pulled out the old alarm, and pulled a bunch of dead end wiring. Then I drove the car all day and it's been starting fine ever since. There was a "security light" as the previous owners were calling it that would stay on and I think that's what was draining it because it wasn't your normal single flashing security light. It was some Knight Rider wannabe s**t. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
