VATS Question
What is the easiest and cheapest recourse for someone to get a key made for a car that has VATS, but no key or a way of knowing what resistance the module needs to start the car?
I'm not concerned with the VATS system, and have seen things on ebay that can plug in to eliminate it.......but you still have to know the resistance of the resistor.
Is there a way to test the module?

It was a harness (1989 Firebird) I bought from the junkyard.
I just bought another harness (1988 Firebird) from a forum member and resolved this issue
