Speed Sensor attachment?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section!

We're putting in a stock digital dash into an 82 T/A and need the part that's circled in this picture. What's it called, and where can we get it? The speed sensor didn't come with one.

Thanks!

Re: Speed Sensor attachment?

Hi,I'm not shure what that is called, but I have a question about the digidash swap.I have a 87 gta and a complete digi swap(gauges-a/c box-a/c controlls-wireing from front to rear-door latches-etc...)My question is dose the vatts sytem have anything to do with the digidash. The swap parts I have are from an 88(which I'm pretty shure was the first year for vatts).I dont want to install everything and find out it wont start because of the vatts. If you can help that would be great.

Re: Speed Sensor attachment?

Sorry, I don't know. The car I'm swapping the dash on is an 82, long before the VATS system. This is also just for the basic guages (Speedo, Tach, Oil, Fuel, Volts, and Temp). Even the odometer and trip odometer are still analog with this setup.

Still looking for an answer about the attachment and the fuel guage problem in another post.

Thanks!
