Lo beams not working

My hi beams I believe (the 2 inner lights) do not go on. I even bought a new headlight today and put it in. I pull the light switch all the way, then pull the turn signal lever, and nothing. I tried every possible way and they do not go on.

Re: Lo beams not working

The inner lights are the hi-only beams. The outter pair is switchable between low beams and high beams.
Your lo/hi beam switch might be out of adjustment, judging from your description. Try this tech article: http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=16

Sometimes it helps to tilt the steering wheel all the way up or down when switching the beams.

Hope this helps.

Re: Lo beams not working

I had a similar issue with mine and it was as simple as checking the ground wires on mine

Re: Lo beams not working

on the plug at the headlamp its self...i dont believe that it is a switch issue. There should a ground wire that comes out of the harness and goes to the core support

Re: Lo beams not working

Before I go crazy tracing it, where exactly does the harness begin under the hood?

Re: Lo beams not working

start at the headlamp and work backwards....it should be only an inch or so away from them....
