Fan Switch

anyone know how i could wire up my cooling fan on a switch its wired in to be on as soon as the car is on

What I did was grounded a wire from my fan to the frame infront (right under the hood)
Then ran a wire to a hot wire to the switch..
And then I just ran a wire from the fan to the switch, and it should work just fine (it has for me anyways)

But honestly I would reccomend keeping it automatic.. less of a hastle
