new wiring harness/switch panel... painless? or make my own?
after ripping out wiring that i dont need and being frusterated with the previous owner's lack of common sense/care or ignorance/stupidity, whatever you would like to call it, i am fursterated and am considering rewiring the whole car. i have no idea what any wire leads to, hardly anything matches the schematics.
it was origionally TPI swapped to carbed 350.
i was looking at the different kits [example below] and was wondering...
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...&rsview=sku&Ns=
why couldnt i just make my own switch panel (buying switches and custom fitting it into the now empty radio/heater control space) myself and run the wires to a new fuse block?
example... http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
would there by any disadvantage to this?
as far as legality on local dragstrips, etc.???
