Starter Stamp Number...Look up?

This is the number stamped on my starter. The block in my car I have no idea, nor did the guy I bought it from, what it came out of. I need a new starter and found a powermaster, but without knowing what the block was from, I dont really know if it would work. Is there anyway to look up starters by this number? I am at sea right now and do not have access to my car to get the block cast number. Any help?
