IROCK z28 battery issue

IROCK z28 battery issue

brother has a irock and if he leaves it for a while {day} the battery will be dead, now it is a new battery and the alternator checked good i was going to look at where the stereo was at maybe a crossed wire but is there anything else i should look at.

You have what is known as a parasitic drain. You will need a multimeter to find it.Make sure all lights and doors are closed.
Disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable. Set your meter to milliamps, and put one lead on the Negative (-) post of the battery, and place the other lead on the Negative (-) battery cable. If it doesn't read 0000 then you have a drain. Have a friend start pulling fuses until the meter reads 0000 When you find the right fuse you can start tracing down whats on that circuit.
