Hi all, I bought a 1987 Z28 from my brother in law and all the back pieces to include the plastics are missing on the inside. Can someone send me a pic of their back hatch to include the plastics on the hatch themselves from the inside? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Vic

 

Please be specific...are you talking about just inside the hatch in general or a specific area in the hatch? The panels? Hatch motor?

 

Actually I would like to see as much as possible. The Panels, hatch motor, etc. When i got this car there were no panels nor hatch motor. On the hatch itself it is missing all the plastics too.

 

I know how hard it is sometimes to get a reply on these forums so I'd be glad to help out.
Now, this is off my 1990 IROC-Z, but it can't be much different. I didn't want to strip it down to the inside, but if you need it I can get it tonight or tomorrow. Let me know if I can help any other way.

No problem, that's the electrical contact plate for the hatch.

Thats actually the contacts for the 3rd brake light

 

Yes, the piece in your first picture you questioned but I can't find what it's called. Modern Day Muscle should know if they have that one piece.

 

Thanks for the assist; I knew it was a contact plate for something but can't find it anywhere in my Haynes book or online other than MDM.
