17si to cs144 swap l69

okay, so 1200 miles after i start to drive i start to get the choke light coming on intermittently and low voltage, messed with connectors and it still occurs, seems to be heat sensitive.

both napa and checkers dont carry replacement alternators (sold out i think)

looked up and a cs144 swap looks good, bit more expensive but i'll pay that price to make it the last alternator my car will need

i see connectors/adapters for my 2 wire to its 4 wire plug, however, my questions are

How do i wire up an adapter i made myself (using cs144 plug and the 2 existing wires)

and is there any mounting difference? pulley swap needed?

i checked the and couldnt find wiring diagrams, ie (this color to pin L)

any mounting issues i found in the search were for later models in which the alt is on driver side, mine is passenger, any help will be appreciated as i plan on doing this soon

no parts purchased yet btw
