85 IROC fog light bulb

OK this is a total noob question, but hey thats what I am.

I am no stranger to cars and parts, but for the life of me I cant find a part number for the fog lights in my 24 hour new to me 85 IROC.

The left low beam is cracked and obviously needs replaced. I am hoping to install 4 new Silverstars this weekend, and though I would upgrade the fog light bulbs as well, but cant find a part number.

Also, are the fog lights wired to come on with the low beams? Mine come on when the headlight switch is pulled, is there an on off switch I am missing or is that just the way they are?

Thanks!

there should be a switch, under the headlight switch they may be aftermarket fogs , they made them that look just like factories

Nope, no flog light switch just a blank panel. It has the factory fog lights. Maybe someone rewired the lights, just another thing to look into!

Re: 85 IROC fog light bulb

Should have a switch on the left side low. More info:

Just some info from Jim85IROC that I thought was interesting:

... in 85, in addition to many other one-year-only peculiarities, the fog lights would come on ONLY with the low beams. With just your parking lamps on, the fog lights will not come on.

The switch goes in a panel below the headlight switch panel. Just for general info, there are two factory switches, one of which is illuminated, the second of which is not (yours should be this one but either will work). The lighted version has four "prongs" and the other three, IIRC. Bulb no. 883 for the fogs. Rating/Candle Power 50 watts.
