No horn or lighter on unblown fuses

I have searched around the site but haven't hit the nail on the head about what the problem could be... I yanked every fuse in the car out just to go ahead and look and I have good looking fuses on all. Every other assesory works, I have to get a hood light since I hear alot of problems with this stuff related and the one that is in it aint working right now. I am picking up a new battery tonight cause I just picked up the car Sunday and it was weak cause it hasn't been drove in a while so I don't think that it is a constant drain on the battery. Anyone have any suggestions on this? The car is a 92 RS

Make sure all fuses are in and all accessories are off. hook up a volt meter to the battery and disconect one fuse at a time untill you see a different reading (needle should go up a hair once you found something that is causing a load) Then you will have an Idea of where the problem lies. Usually an alarm or a stereo can cause a small drain (load) on the battery but it would need to be parked for a very long time before this should be an issue.

I will have to try that like I said the guy I got the car from hasn't driven it since march of this year with the exception of bringing it to my house about 40 miles away to show me. The battery was working then it just got slower and slower and eventually had to be charged to crank... and now I have to turn the charger onto engine start to go anywhere haha

Could be your Starter, battery or Alt going out as well. The next time you are out and about take it to either a checkers or auto zone and they can check the charging circuit.

This morning I replaced the battery with a new one and have let the car sit around for a bit then went back and it has started each time I have needed it to. I guess nothing is draining anything but the other stuff still aint working.
