Simple question, interior light + power locks?

Simple electrical question... just recently my interior light and my power locks both stopped working. Either this is a really big coincidence or maybe they're on the same fuse and I just need a new one.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Much appreciated.

they are on the same fuse, along with the cig lighter and a couple other things i can't remember. check your fuses.

Cig lighter might be the problem.
I replace mine and everything works perfect now
$7 at Autozone. Of course you need to replace the accessory fuse

Thanks. If anyone could post up a fuse diagram or something, so I know which fuse to replace, that would be helpful. Both are cheap fixes but I'd rather try the fuse first.

if you look at the fuse block, they are all marked what they are for. the one you are looking for is marked ACC or accessory

Re: Simple question, interior light + power locks?

I just had the cigarette lighter replaced as suggested by many and today during a ride the acc 20 fuse burnt out again and when trying to replace it burns out again.
Looks like there's still a short circuit going on, any idea where to look next if it's not the cigarette lighter causing the problem?
And another strange this is, why when the mechanic replaced the cigarette lighter it worked all perfectly fine. Things always seem to happen when leaving the mechanic :-)

Have you been under the hood?? If equipped, the under hood light is on that same fuse, had to disconnect mine to keep the fuse from blowing.
