POWER LOCKS

I HAVE AN 87 IROC CAMARO AND I NEEDED HELP......MY POWER WINDOWS WORK FINE......BUT ONLY SOME TIMES MY POWER LOCKS WORK....JUST RECENTLY THEY STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANKS

id start by checking the fuse for it. also in what car and year?

do the locks try to work? or when u press the button does just nothing happen?

If that's the case, clean with WD-40, then lube with white grease--do the same with the window tracks. While you're in the door panel, you might consider some ideas from the following link:

i figured youd chime in jamesc, your the guru when it comes to this kinda stuff.


but iroc, i think u should make sure your gauge cluster is backed all the way into the switches it plugs into, also maybe even take out the cluster to see if the locks work.
