Repinning and wiring tools?
I need some help here...I am in the middle of a TPI swap to my 87 LG4 engine.
I have a Camaro by the way that was originally a computer controlled carbed 305 engine..
Now I have come to the new wiring that needs to be done. And it seems that I have to change some of the pinouts on the C100 connector and add 2 wires from the C207 connector.
What tools do I need for a job like this?..I mean..I am a little bit frustrated on all the wiring actually...I am also curious about how the C100 diagram should look like in 1988..I cant find any diagram of that year..
I have a C100 diagram of 1989 and 1987 so I am comparing those to and bet on that should be right...But how do I change the pinouts without damaging anything???
And the same on the C207 connector??....I really need some help on the wiring..Is here anybody that have done this type of swap before??..Where should the fuel pump wiring go?...through the C100 connector??...to the C207 connector?....

Hi :
You can get a small hairclip , it's good , if you want "the pro way" , you can get a small tool , like this :
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Generally , any connector is a group of terminals , attached to a "plastic piece" , first you have to get out the terminal , the terminal holds to the connector with a tab , you have to place the tool , or the clip , between the terminal and the tab, and move gently the terminal out of the connector, pick up a good light and see what i'm talking about.
Remember , if this is your first time , get a crap connector , something to start learning skills , or buy some to test first , don't begin with something in your car , it's better making mistakes with shitty stuff , and not with your car.
Sorry about my crap english.
