Strange factory wire
Ok I have the Chiltons manual, the Haynes manual, and the 82 Dealership repair/service manual. And in none of these can I find this wire, it's one wire, on the pass side frame rail and when I found it, it had a posative battery terminal attached to it, any idea's? I would like to figure out what it is before I attempt to hook it up and possably open a can of worms. It is a factory wire as it has the factory black plastic connector.

Was it under the plastic frame on the door jamb?? most likely a previous sound system power lead... start pulling!

No it's under the hood attached to the pass side sub frame rain, roughly a 16 gage black wire with a single pin connector, I unplugged the connector and removed the section with the batt terminal, however I havent the foggiest where it goes I lose it in the factory wiring bundles
