WHAT IS THIS?!
Re: WHAT IS THIS?!
honestly, i have no idea how the instrument cluster works...there are no indicator needles on any of the gauges, just lights. When i turn the car on, all the lights illuminate, so i'm fairly certain they all work.

Difficult to tell because of the pic's quality, but the wire doesn't look OE. After market addition of some sort?

i thought it didn't look too OEM either. This is a little bit better picture.
I can't figure out what it goes to, and the wires aren't the same colored type like everything else...

Re: WHAT IS THIS?!
I wouold think it is OE.I have the same wire with the same exact connector hanging below my dash. The only thing not working on my car when I got it was the factory temp gauge. It had a crappy sunpro mounted below the SES light.
I didnt notice the wire until recently when I was replacing my flasher in the "convenience center" under the dash.By this time my cruise had quite working and I couldnt get it to work.So I removed it prior to finding the wire.It would be nice to find out if it is to the cruise controll cause I still got all the parts.
I could be wrong but seems funny we both have same wire with same connector in the same place. On second thought. My car did have a pioneer cd player installed and the foglights were gone.Ifound new fog lights but couldnt get the wiring to work so I redid it with a new relay.

I second the cruise control motion... IIRC that's where it went on my car when I was messing with steering column stuff... It plugs into a similarly odd female connector... Unfortunatly, I don't have a pic to offer... Good luck

Re: WHAT IS THIS?!
I concur with the above, it IS for the cruise control module... I recently replaced my stalk with cruise control and had remove and replace the EXACT same plug...the female plug is oddly shaped aswell. Look around further back for it...check this

Re: WHAT IS THIS?!
I cant find where mine plugs in but I did find a couple of disconnected weather packs that dont match and lead to nothing. One has 2 wires,1 blue and white.1 brown. The other one has 4 smaller wires with 2 of them cut before they go into the disconnected weather pack.Kinda weird.Either one of them sound like the cruize connection?Or maybe even the temp gauge wires?Let me know if you find where yours connects.
