What color are the wires coming from the sending unit in the head.When I bought the car it had a cheepo sunpro temp gauge(mechanical)mounted below the dash.I replaced it with a automeeter and moved it to the a pillar.I would like to find out which wires they are.I have a known working temp gauge out of another cluster I`d like to use.Ijust need to know which wires to connect it to.I found a weather pack with 2 wires.A brown and a blue with white stripe cut after the weather pack.Also found a 4 wire connecter also with nothing plugged into it.I`ve searched and looked in the haynes/chilton and cant seem to find it in the wiring diagrams.

 

It should be dark green IIRC

 

Any idea if its the same color inside the car to the cluster?

 

dark green from sending unit (drivers side head) to cluster harness inside of the car.
