Whacked Out 92 RS!-Blower motor, lights, radio...

Alright I got a 92 RS with the lousy 3.1, but do not fear I got a 350 Mercury Marine motor dirt cheap with 0 miles on it, ZZ4 heads for $600 (Ironically that's how much I paid for the car!) in the process of getting a ZZ4 cam thinking a Holley carb 700-800 CFM range, headers, dual exhaust... But I am having major electrical problems with the car. I am trying to get the V6 running again so I can sell the engine and the Trans (yes its an auto car but I got a running 700r4 from an 87 camaro for $100) and make a little back from this monster of a project. These are some of the crazy stuff going on with it. The blower motor remains on in the defrost setting (can't be switched to anything else) but you can change the Lo to Hi setting. The Interior lights stay on whenever a battery is connected regardless if the key is in the ignition. The headlights on the other hand refuse to turn on. Until just recently I couldn't get the brand new fuel pump I installed to turn on. I am starting to wonder now if the injectors are even working. To top it off the radio has no power whatsoever. Fuses are good, did find a lose ground but resoldered that back to body (then fuel pump came on). Basically I am at a loss as to why all this is happening, and not being electrically minded doesn't help.

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

The previous owner might have installed a jumper to make sure there is airflow across the evaporator when the compressor is being used.

The above is a low priority repair.

The most important repair is taking care of the unwanted lights so you can fix the rest of the problems without killing the battery..

See if the door pin switches are functioning properly.

Remove the side kick panels.

Check to see that no wire has broken off and going to ground.

Make sure the pin switches are electrically ok.

Probe the headlight switch to see if it’s getting proper voltage in/voltage out.

Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. Keep em turned off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!

Sorry didn't make it quite clear. The interior lights don't come at all. The dash is what is constantly lit. Also the the gas gauge is all messed up it's way past full with no gas in the tank, battery on, key in the run position. Is there any common places where grounds can go bad, if anyone has experienced this before or knows of a common solution, please let me know!
