continuous power?
I am working on a 85 iroc and pulled it apart last fall and trying to figure out what I need and don't need. I am switching from a computerized quadrajet to a carb's 406. I have power going to the starter, the small wire that energizes the starter and the other large wire that cranks over the engine.
I am just wondering where does the car get the contiuous power for dome light, radio etc etc when the ignition is off? Basically it must be a larger wire that carries power to the wiring harness, like a 10 or 12 ga? Thanks for any help.

Re: continuous power?
All the power comes from extra wires with fusible links that are connected to the starter solenoid.
If those fusible links are broken, they might give you crazy electrical nightmares.
Hope this helps.
