How do you get the headlights out of this car. I know you take the screw things and turn them so the headlights will both be up. Then you remove both black covers that have the four torx screws on both sides. OK my problem is how do you get at the philips head screws at the bottom of the headlight it is a tight squeeze there and remove the metal bezel that goes around the headlight. Why did gm have to make it so diffucult to change the headlights on the car?

 

get your screws out then you have to lower the light back down a little bit, then manuvere the black trim out.

 

The black trim is not the problem. Getting at the two metal screws at the bottom of the headlight bezel is the problem.

 

I just did mine about a month or so ago and I only removed the top screws and laid it forward to get the light out .

 

you could leave them in and bend the trim ring down and pull the light bulb out. but be careful use gloves as the ring is sharp.yes those screws are a pain and also they may be stuck and hard to turn to get loose
