Question about L.E.D wireing

I plan on puttng some L.E.D lights in my dash over the summer but I don't really know how to do it. I bought some basic lights from autozone and the only thing the instuctions tell me is that of the two wires connected to the L.E.D.'s is that one needs to be grounded and the other needs to be connectred to a 12V source. My question is what should I ground the ground wire to (or at least what will work) and wear is a 12V source inside the interior that I can safely wire the 12V wire to without messing up my electrical system. I plan on putting the lights near the center of my dash and below the top dash pad. I have a neon light bar under my dash that has a 12V plug for the cigerette lighter, I was thinking about sliceing my L.E.D. wire in with it but I dont know how safe that would be.
Sorry for the long post, I would be thankful for any help.

Any ground.

The LEDs don’t draw much therefore you can tap into that wire for the neon.

Happy Racing!

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards

Fog lights are not driving lights. Keep em turned off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!
