I was out running around and got gas and it was starting ok the last 2 times it took some time but started. the last time it sounded like it backfired but started. it was ideling ok but wile driving down the street i gave it some gas and it bogged down i let off the gas and gave it gas easy and it went ok. started home and it got to the poing giving it gas got me 40 mph. if finaly shut off and would not turn over. got towed home checked the batt. and had 9v, charged for 30min. or so and it started. I'm guessing a bad ault. it seamed like it was only putting out 12v. wile i had it running i had my son turn the lights on and the volts dropped like a rock. is 9v too low to get it too turn over? could the ignition mod be bad and when it cooled down it reset and started? thanks for any input

 

IMO fully charged batteries hold 13.65 volts. On Tunerpro my alternator show 13.9 volts. 9 Volts is probably too low for the ignition system to work properly.
