Starter Solenoid on new motor
For some reason the starter solenoid keeps dying on my motor all it takes is to lift the car and take a screwdriver to the terminals and it will start again
Im not sure whats causing it to do this but id hate to take the car out and it die on me
Im not sure if its because I have higher compression or not but I dont think that would be a factor for the solenoid itself
Thanks In advance

Have you tried troubleshooting the starting circuit yet?

Re: Starter Solenoid on new motor
So you checked it out and you get power on the purple wire on the solenoid while turning the key to Start but the starter doesn't engage the bendix or start turning?
Do you hear any sounds? Clicking?
What does the voltage do at that point? Don't use the dash gauge, use a voltmeter.
