issue with gauges when turning lights on
ok this is on an 86 iroc-z..... my gauges work fine when the headlights are off, however the moment i turn the lights on, the right side of the inst. cluster goes dead... lights, tach, oil, and volts.... also the turn signal indicator turns on solid..... the issue corrects itself the second the lights are turned off..... could this be a bad headlight switch or something else......

That seems like a standard ground issue.
Either a bad connection on the back of the cluster or a bad ground for the cluster.
