Something draining my battery?

Starting with a fully charged batter, my 84 z28 will start up good one or two times. After I turn off the ignition and then try to restart my car, she is dead! I check the battery post and they are tight. Then I jump it with my truck, takes a little while to charge and turn over. After awhile it'll start, but not on its own power.

Is something draining the battery or something not charging it?

Any ideas are appreciated,
-jon
