Car Makes a Clicking Noise...?

When I turn the key to the "on" position, my car starts to make a clicking noise. It's been having a few electronic issues like the brights flash on and off and then just turn off and my A/C keeps going out even when i replace the blower. Any suggestions?

CLICK TIP

You’re must locate the source of the clicking.

You can use rubber tubing as a stethoscope.

Make sure you stay away from moving parts.

The Pull-For-On headlight switch contains a circuit breaker.

That’s why your headlights are doing the morse code routine.

Something is drawing too much current OR the switch needs to be replaced.

Use an ammeter to decide your course of action.

You’ll have to articulate further about your AC problem.

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!

Re: Car Makes a Clicking Noise...?

I was driving back to school (about an hour drive) and I went to turn the A/C down when I realized it wasn't blowing out of the vents. So I turned it off and then turned it back on and it worked for a second then cut out again. So I replaced the A/C blower and it worked fine for about a week. Then I was driving and went to turn the dial from hi to the next notch down and the blower shut off again. Now when i turn it on it blows very low and dies out gradually. Any ideas?

Due to the fact when you turned the blower switch off & on, and that caused it to work, makes it sound like a bad or dirty switch.

You can try some contact cleaner on the switch.
