90-92 Camaro custom guage panel finally

Great news for all us guys with 1990-1992 Camaros with the 110 speedos who can't find the 145 ones anymore and also a 145mph speedo isn't enough for us LS1 guys anyway. I just talked to Greg the owner of Covans Classic Dash and he is building the guage panel to fit custom Autometer, VDO speedos, tac's etc, etc.. to fit our 1990 to 1992 Camaros, so no more 110 speedo's guys, now we can have 200mph ones in our machines. You can thank me later gentlmen, but for now, call Greg and get your order in. He is going to make them in the factory black matte, brushed aluminum, and of course, Carbon Fiber!!! I'm curious how many of you out there want one, so if you do shoot me an email and just say yes, one for me too, so I can get a grasp on how badly this was needed. Thank you,

Re: 90-92 Camaro custom guage panel finally

how much and what would be included? like a set of gauges and the bezel? or just the bezel? and what kind of layouts would there be? i'd want a 3 hole one (5" speed, 2-5/8" fuel, 5" tach) to clean up the clutter and get 3 more gauges (volt, oil, water) on the pillar.

Re: 90-92 Camaro custom guage panel finally

Been wanting them to make this for our cars for a while. I'm in!

Like someone else asked...is it just the bezel or does it come loaded with guages?

Just the bezel and you can choose what brand of guages you can put, I assume the same amount of holes for what was in factory bezel speedo, tach, fuel, temp, etc...
The Autometer Phantom series are nice and Revolution guages come in many colors like the yellow factory ones, I probably will do revolution 200mph w/ yellow color guages, or black guage w/ yellow numbers, they are cool, speedhut.com carries revolution guages and they have a thing that changes the guage color so you can see what it will look like during the day and during the night, bad a**

Sounds good. I was leaning towards the ultralite II gauges from Autometer.

Ok I am lost are they making replacement guages clusters for us or just the housing?

If just the housing how will we get them to work?

They're made by Nordskog Performance... I payed a lil over $600 for the blue; they recall 1\4 mile time, 0-60, and top speed with the tap of a button... The unfortunate thing is I think they went out of business ...

The cars actually red, just a dark pic haha... They are custom 18" Ace Zues... 235/40/18 up front and 255/40/18 out back...

Beyond accurate... If you ever change out your wheels for something bigger or wider it has one touch calibration so your speedo is never off...

It would be just the housing, only setup for you to install the autometer guages where the factory gauges would be. The company has made this setup for the 82-89 camaros for a few years now, but this is the first time they'll be making the setup for the 90-92 cars.

subscribing to the thread. Icant wait to see their product.

i was looking at cutting the back of the guage package out, and adding a flat black sheet of f/g to the font and the cutting the holes for my guages.then reassemble. that way i could have the clear plastic over it. Kinda like a mix of old and new look. but that liitle cut out square for the trip meter kinda boogers up the whole idea.

I had a friend with access to a machine shop make a panel and attached it to the stock gauge cluster and trimmed the back out. You still can't put the plastic lens on because it hits the trim ring that goes around the 3 3/8" Speedo and Tach on the bottom of the panel. Of course I am not savvy to what gauges your reffering to using.

i wonder if they will make a blank kit? 1 without predrilled holes for guages. that will give some of us a few more options with guage location.

They offer a blank for the 82-89, so I'd say there is a good possibility.
