Re: still no dash lights

also i forgot to mention this before when the headlights are on and the door is open the buzzer that should be driving me crazy is not working im assuming this is related to the lack of guage lights, is there a relay that controls this? and if so where is it located?
thanks for the help

You might of had a short which took out the dimmer.

You might have an open now in the dash printed circuit board trace.

Apply (thru a 5 amp fuse) 12 volts directly into the dash light illumination lamps.

If they light that way you know the problem is in the wiring leading up to the dash.

Happy Racing!

When you see fog lights on in good weather beware. Low performance driver ahead. Right grandma?

How bout those nervous nellies too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime or if there is a little rain!

Re: still no dash lights

can anybody come up with anything else?
i checked the wires that i can see and the connections at the back of the cluster and even re-replaced the transistor underneath the dash and still i have no dash lights or buzzer to indicate that the lights are on, i have replaced the dimmer dial (above headlight switch) replaced the headlight switch and checked all fuses and cleaned the contacts to many relays is there a relay that would control the two items i am lacking? by the way the interior lights still work just the guage lights do not work. could the dimmer dial be bad? the replacement was used.
